a sichuan style noodle dish. noodle lane's version is a twist on an old favorite. we made this beloved dish more bold with more flavors. we use egg noodles with a savory sauce and chili oil, topped with sautÃ©ed minced pork, sichuan preserved vegetable, bean sprouts, and scallions. it's an explosion of flavor. it's a little numbing to the tongue courtesy of sichuan peppercorn.

Inspired By The Famous Hong Kong Cake Lady

i sought to recreate my fondness for these cakes from my childhood while adding my own take on them. the cakes are a warm, slightly sweet snack that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with hint of citrus. an optional dusting of powdered sugar is available for those that enjoy a little extra sweetness.
