Imperial Oak-Aged Sour with Yuzu, Maple, and Smoke // 9% // For our 8th trip around the sun, we wanted to do something different, so we looked to what we're were enjoying during 2020 aside from SingleCut beers, and the lightbulb went off- an imperial sour inspired by Founder Rich Buceta's go-to at home cocktail: The Maple Mezcal Sour. We brewed a HUGE 9% Berliner style sour, with tons of yuzu (the delectable Japanese citrus that tastes somewhere between a lemon, an orange, and a mango), aged it on charred oak spirals for a some smoke and and barrel complexity, and brought the tart citrus and smokey oak together with some spectacular maple syrup. It's complex, bright and quenching, with layered woody spice, vanilla, char, citrus tang, and a round dark maple linger. Cheers to Year Nine!. Must be 21 to purchase.
