China Green Tea

After picking, tea leaves are dry heated to stop oxidation and lock in their delicious green flavor. China green teas vary from slightly smoky (such as gunpowder) to grassy/vegetal (such as organic maofeng). Most research suggests that green tea is the healthiest.

Japan Green Tea

Japan green tea is pleasant and "sweet" due to it's short steaming process followed by drying. Much recent research has suggested that Japan green tea is the healthiest tea.

Jasmine Green Tea

Chinese green tea that is scented, not flavored, with jasmine flowers to produce a classic and traditional tea.

$Pu-Erh

Pu-erh is the only tea that improves with age and the only one that actually undergoes a fermentation. The tea starts as either a green or partially-oxidized tea that is dried and then piled up beneath a damp cloth and "fermented" for days or weeks and then dried again. This type of pu-erh is called "shou" or "mature/ripe" pu-erh. (another type is "sheng" or "unripe, " which is stored for a long time until the flavor ripens slowly in the humid climate of southwest China.).

Containing no actual "tea" leaf, herbals or "tisanes" are caffeine free, highly aromatic, calming and often have medicinal properties.

Mate' is a popular caffeinated beverage throughout South America. Often said to be both stimulating and helpful for concentration.

Rooibos

Grown in South Africa, rooibos is a tea-like infusion without the caffeine but rich with flavor and healthful benefits. Smooth with a slight hint of vanilla, rooibos (pronounced "roy-boss") is delicious hot or iced. The needle-like leaves of rooibos are picked, exposed to the sun (oxidized) until they become a reddish color, leading to the name "rooibos" or red bush. Also called red bush, red tea, bush tea.
